THE FRENCH BALCONY’S HISTORIC DOORS

One of the two upstairs bedroom includes a small, usable balcony that extends into the cathedral room; it overlooks the living and dining room.  Having fallen in love with Paris, the thought of a

French balcony came to mind.

A few years ago during a period when I was caretaker of the old St. Mary’s Convent and also the old courthouse in Miramichi, two historical buildings of the area. After years of neglect, vandalism

and lack of interest, it was doomed to demolition.  These stained glass doors came from the chapel.
